Garden by the bay 24 July 2016

We had been to Garden by the bay many times. Our dearest mother in law found us free tickets to go into the flower dome this time. So we arranged a family gathering with Timothy and Christina who are back from their UK holiday trip. Together with Sarah, it was a really nice evening outing.

The day, as Adrian commented was extremely fruitful before we embarked to the garden. We slept in, got JY to Tinkerlab on time, tutored Sarah on her chemistry, did ting xie with JY at Girls Brigade Canteen where he had a space to run around when he needs to, and even collected my convocation gown at Serangoon Broadway.

Here's the beautiful pictures:

1) Eating Macdonald under the supertrees.

2) In the flower dome.

3) This is a really nice picture I took of the two brothers and JY. The t-shirt colours and the background lightings looks like they are in fairyland.

4) Night view inside the dome.

5) JY and me

6) JY and Daddy

More pictures taken using Adrian's phone .....when he is back from Sydney then.....

Growing so fast. Primary 3 @ the clinic

We are at the clinic for a bouts of running nose and cough. JY is measured as of today:

126cm tall
19.4 kg

A little on the skinny side. But he was overjoyed when we looked at his height.

One progress: He read "Modern Aircraft" and commented :" I used to love only the pictures and now I got interested in reading the words too. You should read it too. It is interesting.

Earlier this morning, there was a little tantrum of refusing to brush teeth and lying about showering. We had been quite insistence on his oral hygiene especially during period of sickness. He sprouted words like: " I want to killed myself".  Audrey's word about ancestry bondage came to mind, and I pray to cut off any ungodly ties. Reminded him that we were redeemed by God and Jesus died for us on the cross, so we belong to Him. Our identity in Christ is who we are on earth.

God bless us with a fruitful day again today. And a safe flight for Adrian as he fly off the Sydney to work for a week.

A slight note:
didn't realised we Singaporean had to apply visa to visit Australia. Both Adrian and Osman had to apply visa WHEN they reach the airport. The Singaporean got it done online quickly, the British due to the recent Brexit change, had some delay for his visa approval. He joined Adrian almost at the last minute before flight took off without him.

Here's a picture of our lovely JY returning a pose to his dearest daddy. Holding the global that shows Australia.
